Warm Bourbon Apple Cider

½ gallon of fresh apple cider
3 cinnamon sticks
1 tsp grated nutmeg
3 cloves
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
2 cups of bourbon
½ cup honey
Juice of one lemon

Apple slices cut very thin

• Place all ingredients except the bourbon and lemon juice in a pot
• Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes
• Add bourbon and lemon juice
• Strain and serve warm
• Garnish with apple slice
